New SPA Shiseido in Bucharest

For the first time ever, Shiseido launches its first dedicated spa in Eastern Europe, opening December 2013. The Shiseido Spa at Stejarii Country Club in Bucharest brings distinctive sensuality and sensibility. It is perfectly set within the picturesque grounds of a new sports, leisure and entertainment complex.

Situated in the centre of the Baneasa forest, the woodland adds the appropriate calm to the spas promise of providing beauty that cares for your mind, body and soul. This philosophy is found at the heart of all Shiseido spas and is achieved by employing a successful blend of Eastern traditions with Western science and technology, together with the famous ‘Qi’ method.

Qi was first created by Shiseido in 1986. Believing that the beauty of a human being’s skin, mind and body lies in the balance of “Qi” – a vital energy that runs throughout the body- bringing a holistic dimension to the spa treatments.

The new Shiseido Spa will include therapy suites, an energy pool, relaxation spaces, hammam, sauna and steam rooms, sundeck and a hair and beauty salon, as well as a Pilates and yoga studio. Expect a strong focus on catering to male guests too, with dedicated spaces for male grooming. There will also be an art gallery that will host exhibitions of young artists and Shiseido historical art pieces from over the years, as well as a fashion catwalk for events of the Romanian and international designers.

Founded on over 140 years of precious experience and Omotenashi (meaning devotion to clients and a welcoming spirit of pure acceptance), everything is done to help you find your path to complete wellbeing and serenity.

Dedicated to uplifting low spirits and replenishing needy souls with their inimitable holistic approach, Shiseido’s first entry into the Eastern European market looks set to astound.
